Employees often experience confusion about their tasks, responsibilities, and authority.
DEMO (Design and Engineering Methodology for Organisations) offers a structured way of thinking that helps clarify an organisation by making it understandable from four coherent perspectives

The social aspect of modelling

In DEMO, the focus during modelling is primarily on the social aspect, as both its way of thinking and notation are grounded in human action and interaction rather than automated processes. This approach makes roles and responsibilities within an organisation much clearer, helping individuals navigate complex situations without losing sight of their position or purpose.

Organisational Change and Transformation

Another key benefit of the DEMO method is its flexibility during organisational change or restructuring. You don’t need to rebuild the entire model from scratch — parts of it can simply be adjusted, removed, or expanded. DEMO has been used for over 20 years in Enterprise Engineering projects, helping to create a solid bridge between business and IT within organisations.
